 Today is National Pig day!!!  Let’s celebrate by making a fun Pig Craft and pretend to be pigs!!

 

Materials:

Empty egg carton

Pink paint (or a pink marker)

Black marker

Yarn

What to do:

Parent cuts out each egg carton bottom so there are 12 pig “noses”.  Have your child paint or color the nose pink.  Then help your child to draw a pig’s snout on the carton.  When they are done punch small holes on the side to tie a string to the snout.  And you have a “Pig’s nose”!  Help your child put on the nose and find a mirror.  Show your child themselves with a silly pig’s nose!   Talk about what sound a pig makes and have fun pretending to be a pig.
