March is National Umbrella Month

Umbrella Craft

Materials

Paper towels

Construction paper

Water colors (or paint and water mixed)

Paint Brush

Cotton Balls

Blue Crayon

What to do:  Cut out the paper towel into the shape of an umbrella.  Have your child paint the paper towel.  While they are doing that cut out a piece of construction paper into the shape of an Umbrella Handle.  Glue the umbrella and handle onto another piece of construction paper.  Use the Cotton Balls to make clouds.  Help your child glue the clouds to the paper.  Then draw rain falling from the clouds.
