Today is World Turtle Day!

Lets make a turtle craft and talk about fast and slow!

What you need:

Plastic or paper bowl

Green paint

Brown markers

Glue

Construction paper

What to do:

Place the bowl upside down on the table (protected with newsprint or something else)   Help your child paint the “turtle shell” green.  Let it dry.  Glue to construction paper.  Help your child draw a head, legs and tail with the brown markers.

Next talk about fast and slow with your child.  Have your child run “fast” and “slow” with you.  Have fun!
